The US based organisation running this scheme is called Children With Hair Loss (CWHL). CWHL offers assistance in the form of hair replacement to children with any form of medically-related hair loss. CWHL products and services are provided at NO COST to recipients. They offer several ways in which a microvolunteer can help their organization, the main one being that you can donate your own hair to assist in preserving the dignity of those children suffering hair loss. The organisation will only accept hair that conforms to certain criteria, eg. hair must be over 8 inches long. Further details can be obtained from their website.
