Herbaria@home is a ground-breaking new approach to digitising and documenting the archives of the UK’s herbaria. Help document and make public the information from thousands of herbarium sheets from UK university and museum collections. Among many potential uses, data from the project could help with climate-change research, conservation, taxonomy and studies of biodiversity.

You do not need any particular botanical knowledge or experience to take part and everything will work through your usual web browser, so no extra software is required. A comprehensive documentation tutorial is provided on the website.
