CHANGE THE WORLD IN JUST YOUR PYJAMAS!

Knit For Peace – Keeping Britain Warm

Knit For Peace started from a project to get women from traditionally hostile communities in Rwanda and India to knit together for street children and orphans, where you can still donate financially to help this to continue.
.
In the UK, many people were keen to contribute their own knitting, and now Knit for Peace accepts all sorts of knitted goods. These are distributed to over 80 outlets including hospitals, women’s refuges, refugee centres and prisons in the UK as well as to developing countries. Patterns are available on the website if needed, including one for a dressing gown made from knitted or crocheted squares.
