Had some very interesting chats with several organisations during the past month. First off was Give More, a UK wide campaign to encourage people to give more time, energy and money to UK communities. They liked the ethos of our approach to encouraging people to give more time, to the extent that they included us with the ‘big boys’ of the UK voluntary sector on their Give More Time webpage. Hats off to them for believing in our initiative.

We also had a chat with the Rainmaker Foundation, a charity that is trying to spread the ethos of generosity, be that time or money. Again they liked the concept behind HFH and the person I spoke to seemed keen about a working relationship between us. The next step with the Rainmaker Foundation is to be approved by their board members, as membership to this Foundation is through recommendation. Fingers crossed that we are accepted, as it might open up doors to networking with changemakers and charities.

We’ve started to crowdfund one of our projects to obtain some impact reporting tools for our website, so that microvolunteers can measure their impact more visibly. If you would like to donate to this project and in return grab some very unique rewards, then please visit our Crowdfunder webpage. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.

Til next time.
