My Swan is an NGO based in the University of Melbourne, Melbourne, Australia. It comprises a team of scientists dedicated to studying the behaviour and movements of Black swans. This is done primarily through the use of special collars fitted around the necks of the swans.
It’s a challenging task keeping track of every collared swan, so the researchers need your help! Have you recently seen a black swan wearing one of those collars? Then visit their website and you can make a detailed report of your sighting. Don’t worry, it’s easy! There will be step-by-step instructions on just how to do it. It’s a good cause for nature and you will contribute to what we know about the Black swan!
