A 404 error page usually has no function other than causing a little frustration, but the NotFound project wants to make use of these error pages by displaying a picture of a missing child automatically when this screen appears. By simply installing the application on your website you can make sure that every ‘Page not found’ on your website displays a picture, age and last known location of a missing child in order to help more people recognise children who have gone missing.
This action displays details of missing children from a limited number of countries in Europe, although more are being planned in the future.
You will need to know a very basic modicum of web coding to install this action on your website. Even if you do not own a website you can help by telling a friend about this simple, yet incredibly helpful, application.
