Rescuing Leftover Cuisine (RLC) is a non-profit food rescue organization based in New York City, America that provides solutions to prevent excess wholesome cuisine from being wasted. The mission of Rescuing Leftover Cuisine is to become the world’s most widely used solution for companies and individuals to eliminate food waste in their communities, making food rescue sustainable and universal, and food hunger a thing of the past.
Rescuers help bring food from their partners to a local NYC homeless shelter. It takes less than an hour and you can set your own schedule, whether you want to help out daily, weekly, or sporadically.
2 billion people could be fed yearly with the amount of food America throws away each year – that is enough to end food hunger in the world. Be a part of the solution and join them and other rescuers to help deliver excess food to those who need it.
This action only applies to citizens of America.
