Social Anxiety Room – Support Forum

Have you ever experienced moments of discomfort or distress around other people? This can escalate to social anxiety disorder, with adverse impact on daily interactions and quality of life for those who suffer it. The Social Anxiety Room has been set up within the UK to provide network of support and hope.
Registration with site is free; you can then proceed to participate in discussion threads of the forum. This site is not intended to replace professional counselling, cognitive-behavioural therapy or medical assessment; guidance to emergency services is provided for people in extreme distress, such as those in suicidal crisis.

  1. What an excellent way to get one’s ‘feet wet’ with online volunteer experiences! I am looking for a good match for myself in order to try this more than worthwhile cause, and through this site, have now discovered a multitude of possibilities for myself – and surprisingly, to suggest to friends, as well. Unexpected bonus? The perfect excuse to get in touch with old friends and such an invaluable topic to discuss – you may come to lend your help and discover that, straight off the bat, you’re the one who is aided in more ways than you can initially imagine! It only goes to show that good attracts good! To everyone – good luck!
