Trove is a project of the National Library of Australia and is a digitized resource of photos, newspapers, music, maps etc. As part of it’s ongoing remit to digitize all things media related, it requires volunteers to help correct the text of digitized newspaper articles. Much of this text has not been translated accurately due to the poor quality of old newspapers. A comprehensive set of guidelines is available from the website to guide you through the correction process.
Newspaper articles, along with the many other media formats on Trove, are also required to be tagged so that people searching for particular key words can find them easier.
