UK based VisitWoods hosts information from many landowners about woods that are open to the public. With over 11,000 woods in their database they can’t visit them all, so they need you to share your local knowledge to help inspire others to visit UK woodland areas.
By uploading images, comments and symbols to describe your visit you’ll be doing your bit to promote access for all – especially families with young kids, disabled visitors and older people. Many people don’t know which woods they can visit or what they can do there. Over 800,000 visitors use VisitWoods each year to find out.
You can take part anytime and do as much, or as little, as you like. If you already have memories or photos to share you don’t even need to get your boots on! Getting involved is easy, just register onsite and start reviewing. Each item takes just a few minutes to share and your photos, comments and symbols will be available to other visitors instantly.
